360-degree cameras have become incredibly popular in recent years, and at IFA 2017, Acer announced it wants a slice of that pie with a pair of its own cameras: the Holo360 and Vision360.

Starting with the Holo360, the camera features a 3-inch touchscreen that lets you navigate Android 7.1 Nougat. Because the Holo360 runs Android, you can upload 360-degree 6.9K images and 4K videos from the camera itself with its integrated LTE connectivity without needing to send them to another device.

Fittingly, the Holo360 is powered by Qualcomm's Connected Camera Platform, which the company announced in 2016 and is designed for video and imaging devices. The platform is based on the battery-friendly Snapdragon 625 chipset, which should help the Holo360 maintain a decent level of longevity in terms of use.

Moving on to the Vision360, the camera is more appropriate for your car than the skate park. The Vision360 automatically starts recording when something collides with your car and takes note of where the incident occurred. All of that data is then saved onto the camera itself and in the cloud so you can retrieve it when you get back to safety.

Recordings also start when the car is parked, not just on the move, with the video sent to the cloud and the car's owner getting a notification on their smartphone. You can also use the Vision360's cloud service to get a live look from your phone and track where the camera is so you can get back to your car.

Finally, Acer recommends that you place the Vision360 on the windshield and aligned with the driver's eyes, since the camera also displays how fast you are going.

The Holo360 will be bundled with a water-resistant case when it goes on sale in North America in November for $429. The camera will also be available in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia sometime during Q4 2017 starting at 349 euros. Acer did not reveal any details regarding the Vision360's availability, though we should get word from the company sometime soon.
