Another edition of the IFA congress is over and done and it was an eventful one. Samsung decided to forgo its big Galaxy Note8 announcement from IFA but LG, Sony and Motorola all showcased their next flagships during the tech congress.

So here's a recap of all we saw from Berlin.

Alcatel

Alcatel had four smartphones and a smartwatch to show at IFA 2017. The Idol 5S, Idol 5, A7 XL and A7 alongside the Movetime watch.

Starting in alphabetical order and starting off big with Archos. The company released a slew of products, including four different Archos Access phones (with displays ranging between 4-4.5-5-5.5-inches) and an Archos Core 50.

Acer

Acer refrained from showing a phone at IFA but showed what may as well have been a phone. The Holo360 camera comes with a Snapdragon 625, a screen and Android 7.1 Nougat.

There was another 360 camera - the Vision360, a 15.6-inch Chromebook 15, the Acer Swift 5, Switch 7 Black Edition and the Spin 5.

Asus

Asus had a lineup of laptops and a Mixed Reality Headset.

Cat

We always enjoy handling Cat phones - they're brick-like build and their nostalgia-inducing bezels are always welcome in our hearts.

And so we manhandled the S41 and S31 Cat smartphones. Hands-on here.

Honor

Honor kept it pretty tame, announcing a

new Robin Egg Blue color option of the Honor9, which we had seen before..

Hisense

You probably haven't heard of Hisense. Whether that will change is up to fate. But we saw a very interesting, very beautiful smartphone from Hisense and we shared a hands-on with you.

We loved the 5.99-inch 18:9 LCD of the Hisense HLTE300T and the phone's super cool blue trim.

Lenovo and Motorola

Motorola made the fourth-gen Moto X official with a dual camera on the back, water proofing and a clever front facing camera that either snaps 16MP detailed stills or downsampled 4MP selfies for lower noise in lower light.

Here's our Moto X4 hands-on.

Lenovo dropped a bunch of Yoga hybrids and convertibles. but showed nothing in the way of smartphones.

LG

LG made the biggest waves with the V30 - it's new flagship. It packs a better set of cameras, a better, curvier design, much better screen (P-OLED !!!) and a classier chassis. Oh and a Snapdragon 835.
