A few days ago we reported on a deal for the Honor 8 that brought pricing down to just $249.99 and $299 for the 32 and 64 GB models, respectively. Considering the normal retail price for the Honor 8 is $399 to $449.99, this was a solid deal. Unfortunately this deal has now ended, but the good news is that an even better one has cropped up in its place!

Right now B&H is offering up the 64GB Honor 8 for just $279.99, the lowest price we've ever seen it. The only catch is the white model is the only one at this rock bottom price. Oddly enough, the other colors cost at least $20 to $100 more than the Honor 8 white variant.

The Honor 8 comes with a 5.2-inch 1080p screen, Kirin 950 octa-core processor, 4 GB of RAM, a dual-lens 12 MP rear camera (with f/2.2 aperture and dual-tone flash), 8 MP front camera and 3,000 mAh battery. It launches with Android Marshmallow but can also now be upgraded to Android Nougat. An upgrade to Android Oreo somewhere down the line is expected but has yet to be confirmed.

The device supports GSM networks, meaning that it won't be compatible with Verizon, Sprint and US Cellular. You'll be able to use it with T-Mobile and AT&T SIM cards with full LTE capabilities, though.

The Honor 9 has now succeeded the Honor 8 and comes with better cameras and a faster processor, but if you want a rock-solid phone on a budget, last year's Honor flagship is still an excellent choice: read our full Honor 8 review here and check out the B&H deal below.
