In this condition this message will not be stored any other place expect client B. After message receiving by Client B, the another signal is sent to device of client A, So he got double tick in chat. Ant Client B will not receive push notification while he receive a message when he is online.


When Offline

 The message is sent by client A and then, the message goes to chat server. But the chat server cannot connect client B. So it is saved in Chat Server. When the client B will comes online,The stored data in chat sever goes to Client B. The data stored in Chat server will be wiped as soon as possible.
