If you pay attention to the rumor mill surrounding Google's Pixel devices, you might remember a bit of drama earlier this year. Rumors began to pop up in June that Google canceled its HTC-made second-generation Pixel …

HTC's new flagship rivals or surpasses the Pixel 2 XL in many areas, at least on the spec sheet. It has a 6.0-inch Quad HD+ 18:9 display, Snapdragon 835 processor, 6 GB of RAM, a giant 3,930 mAh battery, and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. HTC's Edge Sense is more customizable than Google's Active Edge feature, too.

Unfortunately HTC isn't bringing the U11 Plus to the U.S., so folks in the States can only go for the Google phone. But if both phones were available in your region, which would you choose—Google Pixel 2 XL or HTC U11 Plus?
