Well, the next-gen Exynos SoC that'll power these flagships will be made official next week on January 4. A recent tweet from the South Korean company effectively confirmed this.

No official confirmation on what moniker the chipset will carry, although reports so far say the name would be Exynos 9810.
Anyway, moving on, the Galaxy S9 and S9+ meanwhile have cleared the FCC in the US. Sadly, the FCC listings don't reveal anything related to the devices' specs or design, but still, the development signifies everything is on track for the flagships.
