The handset would be a departure from the Sony Xperia devices launched in the last five years—the majority of which have had a flat rear. The handset looks like something of a throwback, though this wouldn't be out of the question for Sony, considering its recent phones haven't been keeping up with industry trends (like fullscreen displays and dual cameras).
