The ZTE Tempo Go has just gone on sale on ZTE's official website in the U.S. This makes it the first smartphone running Android Go to be available in the country. The unlocked phone costs $79.99 and standard shipping is free.

The ZTE Tempo Go was one of several Android Go phones revealed during MWC 2018. As an Android Go-based phone, it isn't the most powerful device out there, but it should have more than enough power to run the various apps optimized for the platform.

The phone has a 5-inch display with a 480 x 854 resolution, a 5MP rear camera, and a 2MP selfie camera. It uses a quad-core Snapdragon 210 processor and has 1GB of RAM. In terms of storage, it comes with 8GB built-in and the option to add more via microSD card.
