We already know what to expect from the new Oreo-based EMUI 8.0 firmware thanks to a Huawei's recent beta program for the two 2017 flagships.

As well as standard Oreo features like Picture-in-Picture mode, notification dots, and much more, the update also brings with it a floating navigation dock, AI-based optimizations, and a host of other tweaks and cosmetic changes to Huawei's

custom UI.

Judging by screenshots posted by Facebook users (below), the update brings the build number up to 8.0.0.360(C636) for the dual-SIM international model of both the standard P10 (VTR-L29) and the larger P10 Plus (VKY-L29). It also includes the Android security patches for February.

The P10 rollout follows the arrival of EMUI 8.0 on the US version of the Mate 9 in late February. Huawei's sub-brand Honor has also deployed Oreo for several devices – including the Honor 9 and 8 Pro – in select regions. Honor 7X users will also be glad to hear that the Chinese company has officially kicked off its Oreo beta program for the mid-range phone.
