Xiaomi may be gearing up to launch the Redmi Note 5 Pro outside of India and China. The handset went on sale in those regions last month, but Xiaomi is yet to announce wider availability details. Journalist Roland Quandt, however, suggests it will soon land in Europe starting at €230.
Quandt, who has been the source of a number of accurate tips in the past, says the device will come with the appropriate LTE bands and in two variants—a 3 GB RAM / 32 GB storage model and 4 GB RAM / 64 GB storage version for €270.

The midrange device features a 1080 x 2160 resolution display with 18:9 aspect ratio, Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset, and runs Android Nougat out of the box. Right now, only a 4 GB RAM model is available, so the 3 GB version Quandt mentions would be completely new.
This remains speculation for the moment, but Quandt also tweeted that he's more than 90% confident in the information.
