Misfit, the wearable company owned by Fossil, makes beautiful watches. Technically they're hybrid watches, which combine the classic look of normal analog watches with a few smartwatch features. The latest addition to the company's hybrid watch lineup, the Misfit Path, goes on sale today.
Available from Misfit.com for $149.99, the Path comes in four color options: stainless steel, rose tone, gold tone, and stainless steel with gold tone accent.
This is Misfit's smallest, most minimalist hybrid watch to date, and features a sleek stainless steel casing with a matte finish. I think Misfit really knocked the design out of the park here — it doesn't even look like a smartwatch or fitness tracker.
Speaking of fitness tracking, the Path will keep track of your steps taken, calories burned, distance traveled, and sleep duration and quality. It's also water resistant up to 50 meters (5ATM). The best part? It has a replaceable battery that will last up to six months.
The side of the casing houses a smart button that can act as a remote control, allowing you to play music, take a photo on your phone, ring your phone, or connect to other smart devices. You can program this button in the Misfit app for Android. The watch can also provide call, text, and app notifications, though there's no screen so you'll have to rely on the watch's vibration motor.
