The new update, available on the Google Play Store and spotted by Droid Life, delivers a number of improvements, including a visual makeover. The redesign delivers a menu dock at the bottom of the app, consisting of shortcuts to Home, Routines, Explore, and Settings.
Other additions to the new Philips Hue app include over 30 new light scenes, tweaked on/off toggles, a scene creation tool, and a recently used color history. The latter means you don't have to waste time searching for that exact shade you've used previously.
Early reviews for the update are mixed though, with some users decrying the "lacking" functionality. One common complaint seems to be the inability for a light to be added to more than one room/group. Several people also noted that they couldn't find the
