- Google Home owners will be able to chat with Google Assistant without having to use the "Hey Google" command for follow-up requests.
- This should allow for a more natural conversation with Google Home devices.

This new feature will let users ask Google Home to perform follow-up tasks to an initial request without having to use the "Hey Google" or "OK Google" command first. You can turn on this feature now by going into the Google Assistant app, tapping on the Settings menu, selecting Preferences, then hitting the toggle for the Continued Conversation option.
While you will still have to start a new chat with the "Hey Google" or "OK Google" command with your Google Home device, any immediate requests after that will eliminate that need.
It will only be available for U.S. English users at first, and there's no word on when it will expand to more Google Assistant speakers and devices.
