However, we don't think that Huawei will put this fresh new tech on the budget Mate 20 variant. Also, if it follows the footsteps of last year's Mate 10 Lite with the LCD panel, this wouldn't allow the incorporation of the under display fingerprint reader. So we are guessing a good old-fashioned fingerprint scanner on the chin?

We will know more once some more revealing leaks start to pop up and we assume the Lite model will be launched alongside the Mate 20 and 20 Pro sometime this Fall. October launch seems plausible judging by the previous generation's release schedule.
