1. Google suddenly became the worst secret-keeper in the mobile industry.
2. Google is purposely leaking these devices to build up hype.
3. Google is purposely leaking these fake devices to troll us all.

I don't see any other possible explanations, but please, if you have any, throw them into the comments below.

Assuming there are no other theories, I think we can all agree that Choice 1 is the least likely. This is Google we're talking about. That only leaves Choice 2 and Choice 3.

Myself, I really hope it's Choice 3 and this is all a big prank. I really don't like the way this phone looks and the alleged specs seem to be a tad suspicious. That's just my opinion but judging from the comment sections of the previous leaks of the device I can see that I am not alone in thinking that.

Like I said, I really hope this is just Google trolling us all. If it's not, and this is the Google Pixel 3 XL that will make its official debut over a month from now, then that will be incredibly disappointing.
