Fans of Rooster Teeth's online anime series RWBY will soon be able to extend their devotion to its characters and storylines, thanks to the upcoming launch of the mobile game RWBY: Amity Arena. Pre-registration for the game has begun in the Google Play Store ahead of the game's official launch sometime later this fall.

In case you are unfamiliar with RWBY, the anime series first launched in 2013 from Rooster Teeth, who was best known before then as the team behind the Halo-based machinima series Red vs Blue. The series focuses on four characters: Ruby, Weiss, Blake, and Yang, and the first letter of their names are used to form the title of their team, RWBY. These four women live in a world called Remnant, and they have been trained as Huntresses to fight off dangerous monsters called the Creatures of Grimm. Rooster Teeth has released five online seasons of RWBY, and the sixth season is set to begin this October.

The free-to-play RWBY: Amity Arena will combine real-time strategy elements with collectible card gameplay.
