Last week's poll summary: Last week, we asked you whether you prefer Quad HD or Full HD (1080p) resolution screens. As it turns out, our readers are completely split. About 43 percent of people who voted on our website and Instagram said they prefer Quad HD screens, compared to about 42 percent of votes for Full HD. The results were basically flipped on Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. You can see the full results of the poll right here.

Android 9.0 Pie is packed full of big new features like Digital Wellbeing, a new Material look and feel for the OS, and gesture navigation. But as is the case with every major OS release, there are a bunch of little features that don't make the headlines. They're not particularly sexy, but they can be super useful.

I'm talking about features like the new smart rotation button, which will prompt you to rotate your phone to landscape mode if you happen to have auto-rotate turned off. It's the temporary rotate button I never thought I needed. Google also added a handy little magnifier when you highlight text, which makes it much easier to not make mistakes when you're trying to copy/paste something.

My favorite small change is the tweaked always-on display on Pixel phones. Now, the Pixel 2's ambient display shows battery percentage and weather information. It's great.

I also shouldn't leave out an often overlooked improvement to Do Not Disturb mode. In Android Pie, DnD mode now silences phone calls, texts, and visual interruptions that pop up on your screen — even low-priority notifications.

What's your favorite little-known Android Pie feature? Cast your vote in the poll below, and feel free to leave a comment if your favorite feature isn't included. Obviously I left out bigger features like dark/light themes and adaptive brightness, so try to stick with smaller additions people may not know about!

Oh, and this should go without saying, but feel free to check out our Android 9.0 Pie review (linked above) to get even more info about all these features.
