Just a couple of days ago, an early build of Android Pie was running on the Galaxy S9+ and XDA-Developers shared screenshots outlining some of the changes. Today, XDA-Developers shared a slightly newer build running on the Galaxy S9 and is showing the changes in a video walkthrough.

The build is running on an AT&T Galaxy S9 variant and the video has the presenter walking us through the interface and going through the apps, many of which have a dark theme. The notification shade is also different with the same dark theme and rounded corners of the cards.

Quick Toggles look different and are now round with the blue ones showing that the toggle is enabled. There’s also a general theme of a cleaner, more streamlined UI with less clutter. Also, many apps are now being shown with navigation tabs arranged at the bottom of the screen.

The Camera UI has changed quite a bit including the way to change between camera modes, no more swiping left and right to switch through modes. You can still swipe down to change between the front and rear cameras. The camera shutter button used to slide up and down to zoom and it appears that Samsung has finally removed this feature.

Check out the full video to see the rest of the changes we might expect to see in the Samsung Experience UI version 10 with Android Pie as well as the changes that aren’t quite working yet.
