Nokia fans in India should be excited to learn that HMD Global just launched the Nokia 5.1 Plus — a budget smartphone with some pretty killer specs for its price point.
Last week, HMD Global teased a new Nokia device and included the hashtag "#GameOn," which led some fans to believe that it was releasing a gaming phone, similar to the Razer Phone or the Asus ROG Phone. However, it turns out HMD was just pushing the gaming capabilities of the Nokia 5.1 Plus.
While the Nokia 5.1 Plus is a lightweight compared to something like the Razer Phone, it does have solid enough specs to play some relatively high-intensity games. Considering how cheap the device is, this is a welcome development.
