Samsung appears to be working on a sequel to its mammoth Galaxy View tablet from 2015. The Galaxy View 2 appeared on the Bluetooth SIG yesterday with model number SM-T927A.

The original Galaxy View came with an 18.4-inch Full-HD display, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, and an integrated kickstand. At launch, it ran Android 5.0 Lollipop and cost $599.

Rumors suggest the sequel will offer a slightly smaller display at 17.5 inches, though the unit will perhaps be far more compact like recent large-screen smartphones, while maintaining the 1080p resolution.
