The Huawei Mate 20 Pro has been up for sale for less than a week (unless you're in the U.S., of course), but that hasn't stopped Huawei from rolling out a new software update already that looks to improve the already feature-stacked flagship.
The update, which takes EMUI 9 to build number 9.0.0.126, weighs in at 491MB and brings the top member of the Mate 20 series up-to-date with the latest Google security patch for October.
As you can see from the screenshots below, the update also adds new filters and effects to the Mate 20 Pro camera suite, as well as AI color, background blur, and vintage filter options when using the phone's video mode.
In addition, AI zoom has also been added so you can adjust the focus when shooting videos.
Android Authority team members from the U.K. and South Africa have both received the update on their Mate 20 Pros, so it seems as though this is a widespread rollout. To check for the update head to Settings > System > System update.
The latest tweaks to the Mate 20 Pro's camera add to what is already an impressive photography experience. The Mate 20 Pro's triple-lens rear shooter has drawn plaudits from consumers and critics. Android Authority's own Bogdan Petrovan described the camera as "feature-packed, powerful, and versatile" in his review.
