  • Evan Blass has posted some potential specs details for the rumored Samsung Galaxy S10.
  • The leaker suggests the S10 will include a triple rear camera setup, Infinity-O display, in-display fingerprint sensor, and Android Pie.
  • Price and release date details aren't mentioned.

Tech leaker Evan Blass (@evleaks) has dropped some potential Samsung Galaxy S10 details ahead of its anticipated launch early next year. Blass posted the information regarding the yet-to-be-announced phone in a tweet earlier today.

The tipster suggested the Galaxy S10 would come with three rear cameras with standard, wide-angle, and telephoto lenses, as well as an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. Samsung has long been rumored to be working on in-display fingerprint scanning tech, so there's a strong chance it will launch with its 2019 Galaxy S series.

Samsung has also previously dipped its toes in the triple rear camera arena with the mid-range Galaxy A7 2018, which has standard, wide-angle and depth lenses. Samsung is yet to introduce as many sensors on a flagship phone, though its premium handsets usually

deliver in the photography department.

Blass also speculated that the S10 would come with an Infinity-O display, which means it would include a floating cutout housing the front-facing camera (and any other necessary sensors). Samsung recently talked about this display approach at its developer conference; it looks like a neat alternative to the maligned notch.

Finally, Blass says the handset would run Samsung's new One UI skin based on Android Pie (though we would expect nothing else).

The Infinity-O display concept can be seen third-right.

All told, the suggestions on the list seem eminently possible for the Galaxy S10. Samsung has already shown off some kind of progress in each of these areas save for the in-display sensor. However, this also means nothing on this list is particularly striking or unexpected; much as we like the sound of these inclusions, we hope there are some surprises come the S10's launch.

The Galaxy S10 is expected to be unveiled at MWC 2019 alongside as many as three other variants. Among these may be a more affordable model and a more expensive, 5G-equipped model — check out what those may offer at the links.
