Today, Sonos went back on that announcement and said it would need more time to "get the experience right." If you make it to the private beta, Sonos asks that you commit to at least 14 hours of listening each week, use 10 voice commands every day, and respond to surveys within 72 hours. Sonos will take a few weeks to screen applicants, with a few hundred lucky homes the first to beta-test Google Assistant. In the "coming months," the number of homes will increase to a few thousand.
