The good news is that the beta evolved into a stable version — Verizon, Sprint, and AT&T variants officially picked up the update, along with Xfinity Mobile and U.S. Cellular. The bad news is that, despite supporting Project Treble, the devices received the update much later than we wanted it to.

We're also still waiting on the T-Mobile and unlocked versions to get their Android 9 Pie updates. It also seems likely that the S9 series will eventually be updated to Android Q, but we'll no doubt have to wait until 2019 to hear more on that front.
