Pokémon fans have another official app on the Google Play Store to play around with, but it's not a game. Instead, this is the Pokémon Trading Card Game Card Dex app.
The app lets you scan the cards in your possession, even if they're in a different language or damaged. When you scan a foreign language card, you can have them show up in your library in the language you set in the app. At the time of this writing, the app supports English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, and Portuguese.
The Pokémon TCG Card Dex goes a step further and also features a built-in Pokémon TCG database. For example, you can see which cards from a specific expansion you own, track down any cards that you don't yet own, and come up with new card decks.
Keep in mind that the database supports cards released since the Sun and Moon series — you can't scan cards that are older. Also, several other third-party apps already perform similar functions. That said, it's nice to see a first-party app that will be officially supported.
The Pokémon TCG Card Dex app is free to download and use, with no in-app purchases in sight. You can download the app at the link below.
