The sub-brand has dished out a few tidbits, starting with design details. Honor says the two phones will be the company's first to offer a "multi-dimensional, Dynamic Holographic glass back" made using "Triple 3D Mesh" technology.

The firm says this glass back is made via a two-stage process, starting with the creation of a depth layer "embedded with millions of miniature prisms that resemble pieces of diamonds." Once this process is completed, the company then combines the layer with a glass layer and a second layer coated in the main color.

Honor president George Zhao noted in a press release that for every 100 back covers produced via this

method, only 20 meet the firm's standards. So it's clearly a rather challenging process to get these covers out of the door.
