Google One subscribers in the UK and Italy are reporting (h/t: r/GoogleHome) that they're getting a free Google Home Mini from the search company. We're not sure about any other countries included in this promotion, but drop us a comment if you've received it outside these markets.
According to a screenshot shared by redditor Djdope79, the offer is available via the "promotions" tab and expires on October 3. So you've still got some time to think about it, but what's there to think about when it's free, right?
It's believed that the offer is only available to Google One subscribers who signed up before September 11. So signing up for the service now and cancelling it after you receive a free Google Home Mini probably won't work.
The move also comes as Google is reportedly preparing a successor to the mini speaker. It's believed that the Google Nest Mini (or Home Mini 2) will offer a wall-mount and 3.5mm port.
