OnePlus 7T Pro in hand

This week saw a few big announcements, most notably the OnePlus 7T Pro. It's incredibly similar to the OnePlus 7 Pro from earlier in the year, with the notable exception that it won't be available in the United States.

Essential's controversial founder Andy Rubin also tweeted out a new device this week, which despite appearances is in fact a phone and not a remote control. HTC CEO Yves Maitres mentioned that the company is looking to get back into the premium smartphone market, but it's unlikely that HTC will ever climb back to the heights of 2013's HTC One M7.

One the review front, we published our reviews of the OnePlus 7T Pro, Vivo V17 Pro, Motorola One Action, Samsung Galaxy M30s, Redmi 8, and Huawei Watch GT 2. Techtober is indeed in full swing.
