Update, December 23, 2019 (2:08AM ET): Google's December 2019 update is slowly making its way to Pixel 4 users around the world, and we already know it introduces e-SIM support on T-Mobile.

In other words, the more you use facial recognition on the Pixel 4, the better it gets. Here's to seeing this option on more phones, be it for face unlock or fingerprint scanning. 

Unfortunately, Google still hasn't implemented an eyes-open toggle for Face Unlock, which means people can still unlock your phone if you're sleeping. Hopefully this addition comes in the next update.
