The Honor Play 20 is the latest silently launched phone from the now independent smartphone brand. It does have some basic specs that make the phone a pretty neat low-cost device, with intriguing specs like the big battery and two cameras on the back.

The Play 20 is powered by a Unisoc T610 chipset. It is a platform, built on the 12 nm process technology by TSMC, and brings an octa-core CPU, with two Cortex-A75 units and six more Cortex-A55, all of them clocked at 1.8 GHz.
The chip is coupled by 4, 6, or 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage, and Honor provided a micro SD slot for up to 512 GB more.

The display on the front is a 6.51” LCD with HD+ resolution and waterdrop notch for the 5 MP selfie camera. The shooters on the back are two - 13 MP main + 2 MP depth sensor, while the third hole is filled by an aperture logo and nothing else and the fourth circle on the square island is for the LED flash.
Interestingly enough, the phone does not have a fingerprint scanner. What it does have is a 5,000 mAh power cell that can be charged with 10W rates through the USB-C port. The phone also has a 3.5 mm audio jack. The OS is Magic UI 4.0, based on Android 10.




Honor Play 20
The Honor Play 20 is already up for sale in China in four colors - Black, White, Blue, and a Silver-Pink gradient. Price starts from CNY899 ($138) and goes as high as CNY1,399 ($215), depending on the memory combination.
