A new firmware update is now rolling out to Apple's AirPods (2nd gen), AirPods Pro, AirPods Max, and three Beats products: Solo Pro, Powerbeats 4, and Powerbeats Pro. Although Apple doesn't post release notes for its AirPods products, we know that the new update has enabled "Find My" features for both the AirPods Pro and AirPods Max. This means that the same network that's used to track down AirTags can now be leveraged for AirPods.

It looks like, in the case of the AIrPods Pro, only the Pods themselves show up in the Find My app if they are not inside the charging case. AirPods owners can use the Find My app to put AirPods Pro or AirPods Max into Lost mode, and leave a message and contact phone number in the event they are found by another iPhone user.
Apple's updated its Support website to reflect the new Find My features.
