This falls right in line with the partnership as scrolls play a vital part for the characters from the popular manga/anime series. The scroll is made from a soft-touch plastic with a velvet-like interior and a burgundy red leather-like flap held in place by a pair of buckles.

We initially thought that unwrapping the scroll would reveal the phone but it turned out that the whole piece was pure decoration. You actually need to open the side compartment of the scroll and slide out the cylindrical box housing the phone. You get a neat pattern on the box as well as a red Naruto symbol.

Taking a closer look at the phone, we can see the back features a soft-touch textured back while the camera island is in fact made from glass just like the standard GT Neo 3 though it does look like metal from a distance and more importantly it mimics Naruto’s headband.

Booting up the phone reveals more customization. There’s a pre-installed Naruto theme with custom icons, sounds and a Naruto charging animation as well as three unique wallpapers.
