It also has a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 1TB and runs Android 13-based MIUI 14 out of the box. Poco has promised two major Android version upgrades and three years of security updates without mentioning the latter's frequency.
The Poco M6 Pro is built around a 6.79" 90Hz FullHD+ LCD with 550 nits peak brightness and 240Hz touch sampling rate. Gorilla Glass protects the display, but Poco doesn't specify which one exactly.

Fueling the entire package is a 5,000 mAh battery that can draw power through the USB-C port at up to 18W, even though the bundled adapter can go up to 22.5W.
The rest of the Poco M6 Pro's highlights include 5G connectivity, an IR Blaster, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The smartphone also has an IP53 rating. If all this sounds familiar, it's because the Poco M6 Pro is a rebranded Redmi 12 5G introduced earlier this week in India with a different back cover. However, Xiaomi hasn't made any software promises for the Redmi 12 5G.
